20th edition of the TPE awards
A few months ago, we decided to submit an application to participate in the 2022 VSE prize awarded by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Hérault and Haute-Garonne. It was the start of a fabulous adventure.
First step: audit of our company
It all started with an audit of the company carried out by two juries who came to Nailloux (31) to meet us in our very workshop. A moment of exchange to show us around our premises and talk about our business philosophy. We discussed numerous topics so that each audited candidate was evaluated using the same grid.
Rewarded with the departmental “Pilot” prize
We pass the first level by attending the awards ceremony of the departmental competition where we win one of the four trophies, the “pilot” prize . First motivating victory since we were in competition with fifty-one other deserving companies from Haute-Garonne.
Hérault and Haute-Garonne departmental final
Laurent, the co-founder of the brand, went to pitch in front of a jury this time, to try to win the prize on a regional scale. The four companies from the Haute-Garonne department presented themselves as well as the four other winners from Hérault rewarded during the last stage.
It was at the Palais des congrès du Cap-d'Agde that the regional TPE 2002 awards ceremony took place. Well-being, piloting, doing, reinventing, ... As well as the TPE 2022 grand prize , the grail!
Petits Cadors receives the grand prize of TPE 2022!
We are going home proudly, a big prize for a very small company is super cool 😄
“The 2022 VSE Prize was awarded to the Petits Cadors company based in Nailloux (31). Created by Laurent Padiou and his wife Muriel, Petits cadors is a story born in the family. In line with the “slow life” movement and because resting is as essential as eating or drinking, the company manufactures original and ergonomic cushions for everyday use. Extra cushions 100% made in France with a new design, a stylist approach and unrivaled comfort thanks to the use of materials that are those of bedding professionals. The filling of the cushions also comes from the collection of plastic bottles from rivers to protect the oceans.” , announces the Metropolitan .
We are very proud of this distinction
It rewards several ambitious decisions: French manufacturing, creation of our own clothing workshop or even the use of recycled materials (filling fiber). This award clearly marks a political will to support the relocation and development of the textile industry in France! It is also a strong sign of the promotion of companies following an eco-responsible approach.
